Dear Sirs, I've painted some of your marvelously sculpted figures of the "El Cid" range, using ModelColor Vallejo acrylic paints.
The Christians were painted as part of the host of Geraldo Geraldes, O Sem Pavor ( the Fearless), a mid 12th century Portuguese soldier and adventurer. The shield patterns was inspired in contemporary Iberian Christian images. The flags sports a wolf because, in my idea, a lion would be too "royal" and a wolf would reflect the spirit and the "not so chivalrous" modus operandi of Geraldo Geraldes.
With my best regards
Filipe Martins

Many thanks to Mr. Martins.
