Hi! I'm Luca Avogaro a wargamer from Italy, I send to you some pictures of my first group of Italian disbanded men of retreat from Russia for my actual wargame project about the battle of Nikolajewka, 26 january 1943; in this battle, little known out of Italy, the last Alpini (mountain troops) of the "Tridentina" division with thousends of disbanded men (italians, germans, romanians and hungarians) frozen and wounded, broke the last encirclement of the russian forces and escaped toward the friendly positions. The miniatures come from those Hat re-issue sets: 7001 WWI german infantry; 7002 WWI french infantry; 7013 bedouins; all modified. In the last picture a my creation: the italian skiers from the "Cervino Mountain" battalion, miniatures modified from X MAS soldiers.
Best regards!
Many thanks to Mr. Avogaro.
