G'day guys, David from South Australia here again!
Painted up a bit of a 'deluxe command base' and thought you might like to see it! I have mixed figures from your Indian Cavalry set as well as the Theban Army boxed set to create hopefully a unique base of allied tribesmen marching under the Mahdi's banner, of which the text on it was 'fudged' and is not real- just some fine lines- that is all! There are a couple of figures from a different manufacturer- but those were not as fun to paint. I have also included some Beja Camelry made from your Hadendowa Camel set. I sincerely hope the releases for this period of warfare continue because the more books I read on the subject- the more interested I am becoming! Hat's off to you guys, no pun intended for these releases- I enjoy painting them and am looking forward to getting my hands onto your El Cid muslim cavalry for some conversions!
I would also like to take this opportunity to direct you to my new blog that I have recently started. It's got mostly wargaming gear, which contains a lot of your figures but also a small sprinkling of RPG gear as well. Check it out, leave a comment and tell me what you think! Thanks once again guys.
Many thanks to Mr. Berta.
