Hi there.
For our annual tabletop-battle ( Bellum Coriovallum ) we assembled more than 3000 armed men and 3 women armed with sickles (a serious threat to manhood) from 101 boxes (34 HAT).
As you can see the Carthaginian Army is arrayed like Xantippus did at Bagradas and Hannibal at Zama.
The romans relied on their massive infantry formations, supported by ballistas and cavalry on both wings.
It took 4 hours to array both armies and 7 hours of fierce fighting (rolling the dice and a lot of argy-bargy)
Luckily for the Carthaginians it turned out to be a second Bagradas.
I sure hope someone enjoys the included pictures and I know a certain person who hates Pachyderms and that's not me.
In future-days we would like to welcome The Carthaginian Vets ,Greek Hoplite , Praetorian Cavalry and Princeps-Triari on our field of carnage and maybe the Carthaginian Sacred Band?
Greetings and I hope the painters go easy on us.

Many thanks to Mr. Cox.
