Dear Hat folks,
You are getting a huge number of contributions to your website which is great! We have a small, but fun one.
Our family visited the battlefield of Gettysburg for the kids' Spring Break. Well, in those down hours, why not paint some Hat figures? So we did. I had gotten a box of zouaves and we pulled out a couple and painted the right there near Cemetery hill where we stayed.
I painted 2. My oldest son John V painted 2 in a uniform of his own design. My 6 year old son Patrick painted one and our 3 year old girl Cecilia made an attempt as well.
Pictures were taken on scene (well, in our hotel). Hope you enjoy. For those of you who have not visited Gettysburg, it is definitely worth the journey.
Sincerely,
John L. Worden IV
