Dear HaT,
Here are some recent shots I took of a battle I set up between some Russian troops and French troops. The forces are predominantly HaT figures, reinforced by some troops from other manufacturers. I finally decided it was time to take a break in painting my guys so I could have some fun with them.
I have your Russian Militia (one of my personal favorites, as I've said before, there is something about their personality that appeals to me) being set up to delay the attack by the French (HaT 1812 Infantry and Line Grenadiers, with artillery), while Russian Elite Grenadiers backed with various cavalry launch a counter-attack supported by various cavalry units (including your Russian Dragoons & Cossacks) and artillery batteries.
I hope you enjoy the pix as much as I enjoyed setting them up and taking them (I doubt it).

The first pic is an overview of the battle (there are over 1200 figures deployed on the table).
Picture 2 shows HaT Cossacks in a bridge crossing attempting to flank the French.
Picture 3 - Russian Cuirassiers ride forward in support of the Grenadier attack.
Pictures 4 & 5 - The Russian main line of defense.
Picture 6 - Russian Militia Line - cannon fodder (if you'll notice in the broad view pictures there is a line of guards behind the militia, ensuring they do not bolt and run.
Picture 7 - Russian Dragoons wait in reserve.
Picture 8 - Russian Gun fires.
Picture 9 - Another picture of the Main Line of Defense.
Many thanks to Mr. Wood
