Hi chaps
It's great to have some new Armourfast kits to play about with, and I can finally have something I've always wanted - a German-captured 1943 model T-34. In reality many types of Russian vehicle were captured and pressed into service by the Germans, and in many cases alterations were made in the field. I have incorporated two common improvements in my model - a commander's cupola salvaged from a Panzer III, and some armoured skirts to defend against anti-tank rifles. I have read that some tanks had guns replaced to German 75mm standard, but I've yet to see that in a photograph of a T-34, so I left mine alone. A nice, jolly three-colour camo pattern and it's ready to be turned against the Russians who built it.
I really enjoyed this minor conversion and I hope you like it.
