WWI German Infantry

I found the detail on these figures refreshing.. I haven't had to paint bayonet/sword knots before. I painted these white, but didn't paint the company colours. I omitted the regiment numbers on the helmet covers. There is quite a lot of photographic evidence from very early in the war to show infantry without their regiment numbers on their helmet covers... interesting, I thought. I also tend to scale the colours (there are alternative views on this, some preferring not to do so) and so the figures probably have a lighter shade than is realistic. However it works really well on the wargames table.
