Hi Folks!
Well the circle is whole again, the first testshots I ever painted for HäT were the WW1 Russian Heavy Weapons set and now I almost finished an entire WW1 Russian Army made up of (mainly) HäT figures.
It's supposed to be a The Great War rules 1914 force, which explaines the lack of grenadethrowers etc, with 3 understrength infantry companies, 2 guns (yeah I know that's illegal according to the rules and yes they are the discussed French 75's) 2 HMG's, HQ and a unit of Hussars. For this I used an experimental list attained from wabforum.com.
Most figures were HäT excepting the cavalry, at least till the new and promissing HäT sets become available I will be using these, one Maxim HMG which was done by Retrokit and some individual infantry troopers to fill out the squads which were actually old ESCI Crimea figures (including one gun crew). Bases were mainly coins and some GW bases. There were some conversions mainly the flagbearers (copperfoil you can't beat it pun intended) and the signaller.
Hope you like this!
Cheers Sander
