Two of my favorite movies were ZULU 1964 and ZULU DAWN 1979. I wanted to capture the chaotic last moments of the British Camp at Isandlwana.
The brave infantry go down swinging. Not a single redcoated trooper reached the Buffalo river in the rush to safety.
SAVING THE GUNS. They didn,t get very far. Both British cannon were hauled back to Ulundi by hand.
