1/72 El Cid Spanish Infantry test shots

An absolute pleasure to paint, these are my hurried and rough interpretation of the new El Cid test sprue. After hundreds of Napoleonics, this was a breathe of fresh air, though the shield designs leave a lot to be desired. My sole aim was to get them painted fast and seen on ETS to let you guys see how beautifully sculpted they are. My aim is to touch them up for use in the first crusades. I never had a favourite figure until I met the guy with the red/blue diagonally striped shield. Now, where are those shield decal producers.....
