Hello once again,
One of the pleasing things about this hobby you can convert some of the available kits into something you would not normally find on the hobby store shelves and here is one of them. The M36B1 was a marriage between the hull of the M4A3 and the turret of the M36. In fact there is very little extra work to be done. The only outward appearance was the Radio aerial was moved to the front hull plate. I think this conversion was a move to get the very potent 90mm gun into action quicker. As you can see on my conversion I cut the out both the floor of the turret and the turret ring in the hull so I could drop the floor of the turret by 7mm and have full length crew manning the gun. I also found out that there were 11 ready round stored in the turret bustle which may or may not be of help to us wargamer's.
