1/72 1898, General Vara del Rey

Date: March 25, 2010.
Hi:
I send you some pictures about General Vara del Rey figure.
It was Cuba,1 July 1898; Don Joaquin Vara del Rey leading the heroic defence of El Caney (Village near Santiago de Cuba) against USA expeditionary force.
After a lot of hours of fight, severe wounded, the General was killed while was evacuated on stretcher.
All the miniatures are convesions from Hat productions.
You can see in the last picture some American infantry painted for my friend Julio Lahoz.
