Hi,
I have tried something a little different for me with some of my conversions along with a Victorian account of the saving the 1/24th Queen's Colours from Isandlwana. The figures are made up from various manufactuers. This is Part 1. Hope you like them.

Melvill and Coghill reach the river, which is in flood. Melvill is unseated from his mount and with the case cover washed away struggles to a rock with the now unfurled Colours. Lieutenant Higginson (NNC) tries to assist him but the two are washed down river with the still mounted Coghill in pursuit. The Colours are lost.
Having lost both horses in the Mzinyathi, Melvill and Coghill struggle up the Natal bank on the hill overlooking the river. Exhaustion and Coghill's damaged knee force the pair to rest but they are caught and in a short exchange are overwhelmed.
Many thanks to Mr. Nick MS.
