HaT Team,
I made the crew for this Gatling gun using figures from the Gardener gun kit, taking advantage of the flexible plastic to reshape them to fit the Gatling. The British took the Gatling gun into action for the first time during the Zulu War, when one as attached to the Naval Brigade that served with Pearson's column. The gun was under the command of 18 year old Midshipman Lewis Cadwallader Coker, who proved the weapon's worth at the Battle of Inyezane River (aka Majia's Hill) where the deployment of the gun helped head-off a major Zulu victory.
Enjoy,
S. M. Mannix

Many thanks to Mr. Mannix.
