Hi
I attached photos about a reenacting show. In Szigethalom (small city next to Budapest) there is a Xth century fortress, called Emese Park. Originaly it was a rocket base but after the cold war, some enthusiasts of History, reenactors and students of History built here these fortress. The garage of the trucks is the 'hall of knigths', the bunkers are the stores. They made a small lake with port for viking dragonships. The first Hungarian king was Saint Stephan (1000-1031). In that time, Hungarians fight usually on horseback, because of it the king has numerous of vareg warriors (eastern viking) mercenaries to fight on foot and they were the guards in the king's fortresses.
In the pictures you can see the reenacting show and the park. We got invitation to show our 1/72 scale diorama about the Hungarian compaign in 937. We deploy it in the 'hall of knights'. There were many reenacting group from different countries to make competition in fighting. There were duels and group battles.
Best Regards
