Here are some pictures of my Carthaginian command and cavalry, I hope you like them. Carthaginian heavy cavalry consisted mainly of Carthaginian noblemen. On the battlefields in Spain and Italy (during the Second Punic War) Carthaginian heavy cavalry and its allied Numidian light cavalry were usually superior to the Roman and Italian cavalry. Carthage's generals in the field, especially those from the Barca family, were excellent commanders. As the Carthaginians were a minority in there own land they frequently hired mercenary troops such as Celtiberians, Numidians and Gauls to fight their nemesis, the Roman Republic.
