1/72 The Carthaginian War Elephants

Dated: July 19, 2009.
Here are some pics of my Carthaginian War Elephants. They were used to overrun and disperse Rome's infantry formations. War elephants were often used as 'tanks' in ancient armies. The towers on elephants were very effective as platforms for archers. The smell and appearance of elephants usually scared of the horses of (Roman) cavalry units.
