Here are some pics of my Roman Republican cavalry. In the centuries of the Roman Republic only noblemen and wealthy Roman citizens could afford horses. The core of the Roman army were the legions, the cavalry however had a supporting role in battle. They were used to outflank an enemy army or pursue and destroy enemy units in retreat or on the run after defeat.
