Hello,
This is an upgrade on the Hat 77mm FeldKanone 16, during the early 1930's the Germans re-barrelled all their 7.7cm that they had left to 7.5cm, which gave them better range and more importantly they could handle a better range of ammunition for modern warfare, by 1943/44 most of these guns were assigned to second line infantry units and coastal defence, many hundreds were used to defend Normandy during the invasion, and my diorama shows one of those crews that survived d-day in action, I used parts of the limber to make an ammo supply for the gun.
