These are some photos from when I took the Armourfast JagdPanthers (& friend!) together with my Britannia Churchills on holiday to Normandy in July. The battle was the action at Les Loges (South of Caumont) where 3rd Battalion Scots Guards had their first taste of combat. We're focusing on S Squadron which was decimated by 3 JagdPanthers in less than 5 minutes losing 11 tanks! The action took place approx 2 miles away from the museum at St Martin des Besaces where I was running the game & I ran it on the Sunday prior to the 65th Anniversary of the battle. David Mabutt, the museum's curator is the guy in the check shirt & is a really nice guy who spends a lot of time with anyone that visits the museum… well worth a visit! (also his wife runs an English Tea Room in the village of Montchamp called "Poppys" & makes a superb brew and awesome scones!!!)
