1/72 Ancient Greek Boltshooter

Dated: April 23, 2009.
As a schoolboy I scratch built this giant boltshooter for my Atlantic/Airfix/Esci Roman army in 1986, using soft wood and boardpaper. Having no Roman crew to man it, it stayed unfinished for 22 years. Last summer I repaired and painted the model and added a Greek crew, using them as Macedonians or Hellenists for DBMM. The only Hät figure is manning the ammunition donkeys.
