Hi,
Some pictures of my Zulu Wars Mounted infantry. I doubt that they carried standards on patrol if at all but who can resist that flag. The officer conversions were simple enough but the bugler was a bit more involved. I pin all my joins by drilling and inserting nylon rod from yard broom strands then glue with good old PVA because I like its filling capability and flexibility. I use Vallejo and Citadel paints and washes. To create the sand effect on the bases I use well ....sand.
Next project will be Camel Corps and Indian infantry, then all I need to do is paint 300 natives so they can 'av sum'it to shoot at!
