Hi:
Again a modest contribution. I send some pictures of the 8065 Roman Auxiliary Infantry for some time ago. Since then I have been reading some Osprey editions on the Auxiliary topic and found information on the Cohors I Batavorum. Often a combination of infantry and cavalry and closely attached to Cohort Legio II Augusta and the Wall of Hadrian. My 'painting speed' is a bit off nowadays, so I was too lazy to paint a cavalry unit, but I hope this infantry will be a welcome addition to the already contributed auxiliaries.
Please note I tried to create a shield pattern that honors the original pattern worn by the unit. I even tried to give them a 'northern border' feeling by using some 'stuff' to create a cloak for some of them. I hope you like the result. - If somebody likes the pattern on the shield and wants to use it they can always obtain it through HäT.
All the best,
