Here are some pictures of my aborted Freikorps project. The original concept included no duplicated figures, ergo the bewildering mix of manufacturers and head-swaps, including Hat airix reissues of WWI Germans and French. I still have a large group of half-painted figures, including railroad figures and civilians to fill out the ranks. Then I received the Hat German Heavy Weapons set and loved painting up all of the MGs and ATRs so I became more flexible. I still have the Hat Artillery set (and the new WWI releases) to paint and will resume at some point. I am also preparing to paint Sparticists and sailors as opponents. Someday, but my friends here are mostly into 28mm, which take so long to paint...
