Here are some pictures of the Hat M4A2 (Sherman III) built as duplex drive (swimming tank). The details are made from parts from my spare box. The floating device is scratchbuilt from styrene sheets and two-part epoxy putty. The markings are probably for a M4A4 (unless you're a Shermanholic, it wouldn't matter). As for the M36, I have seen prototype "T71E1" with the diesel engine deck, but the production model has the wide (M4A3) engine deck, according to Hunnicut and Squadron publications...But hey! there aren't too many crazy Shermanholics like me...I'm sure the narrow engine deck will look fine too.
