Brunswick Avant Garde

I've been working with (maybe playing with is a better term) 1/32 (54 mm) soldiers on and off since 1948. In recent years, Hat 1/32 castings have added the pleasure and challenge of painting and conversion to collecting. Here are the Hat ingredients of my collection. Photographs by my son, Dr. John L. Set No. 9002, Brunswick Advance Guard, painted as shown on the box. Apparently all of the Germanic states had troops in similar uniforms, so if you can ignore the little horse emblem of Brunswick on the hat, they can serve in different armies. This set comes without an officer, but fortunately I had one left from a lead Comet-Authenticast set (ca. 1950) who has been painted to match.
