Dear Hat,
These some shots of our budding ancient armies that my son and I have been doing battle with. The painted figures are virtually all Carthaginians. My son still feels that taking time painting takes too much time away from playing with the soldiers. A valid point perhaps!
First two shots are the beginning of the Carthaginian army with Hannibal and his elephants.
The last shot shows our rather poor recreation of the battle of Zama with the carthaginian elephants facing the Roman army flanked by their Numidian allies (who by this time had turned on their old allies, the Carthaginians). There are obvious deficiencies in the connection with reality, but I thought you might enjoy these images anyway.
Thank you for all of your fine work with these figures.
Yours sincerely,
John L. Worden IV and John Worden V

Many thanks to the two Mr. Wordens.
