Hi chaps
Lovely job on the Cromwell. So good it inspired me to convert two kits into a Challenger. Not to be confused with the modern Challenger, this was a 1944 project to put the 17-pounder on a tank chassis. It was formed by adding an extra roadwheel to the Cromwell, removing the hull MG, and installing the 17-pounder (from the Armourfast Firefly) in a very tall octagonal turret. 200 were built, but the Challenger was ultimately dropped in favour of the Sherman Firefly.
