Hello chaps
A few months ago I wrote in to suggest you make a kit of an SU-76i. This was basically a captured Panzer III which the Russians converted into a StuG-style assault gun by taking off the turret and installing their own 76mm gun in a superstructure. In 1943 they made 201 of these, apparently, including some command versions by installing the cupola from the Panzer. Anyway, rather than wait for you guys to do it, I've decided to crack on and make one myself.
I used your excellent Panzer IIIJ as a base, and the gun came from your T-34/76. Most of the rest was scratchbuilt, but I also incorporated the cupola from the Panzer III to make it a command version. Hope you like it!
