This is the accompanying text for my Pictures of DBA II-40 Numdian Army. Figures are HäT Numidian Cavalry (most of the 2LH Light Horse), HäT Carthaginian African Infantry (2Ps Skirmishers and 3Ax Tribesmen, 4Ax Regular Infantry), HäT Carthaginian War Elephant (The El Elephant), HäT Republican Roman Infantry - Princeps (The 4Bd Heavy Infantry), HäT Carthaginan Command (The 3 Cv Standard Bearer) or HäT Spanish Cavalry (The 3Cv Body Guard). Some Figures are Non-Hät for Variety (Zvezda Numdian Cavalry).

Imitation Legionaries.

Numidian Regulars, possibly trained by Roman specialists.
The Light Infantry (5-6x 3Ax)
The Main body of Numidian Tribesmen, fighting in more or less formation.
The Skirmishers (5-6x 2Ps)
More Tribesmen, fighting in loose order in ambush fashion.
The Elephant (0-1x El)
Strongly recommended option to give this rather light-weight army a bit more power.
