I send you some pictures of my last work. It´s about the great Punic general Hamilcar Barca and his last days.
It was 229 B.C. The history is confused, but is true: Hamilcar died in Iberia. I recreat the attack and destruction of Helike, a small town of the Oritani tribe. The return towards his base is slow and the Carthaginians are surprised by furious Oretani's friends. It was a ambush near Helike…
I love to make use of some oldest plastics figures in this work: Airfix's Ancient Britons and the Atlantic's Egyptians.
