Painted test sprues by S.M. Mannix
Attached are some photos of the test spue for set 8146. I painted them as the 1st Battalion 4th Regiment of the (French) Line, who were decimated by the Russian Guard Cavalry at Austerlitz. In this batch the figures are in square formation. The figures were easy to paint, and the poses required almost no adjustment. The one spue makes a reasonable petit scale Battalion so the full box could be used to represent a full regiment, for war gamers and the like. Alternately, one box could also produce a very fleshed out grand scale model without having to make many conversions or seek out too many supplemental figures.
Cheers

Many thanks to Mr. Mannix.
