Here are some pictures of my Celtic cavalry, I hope you like them. The Celtic cavalry was important for Hannibal's Carthaginian army. They formed the heavy cavalry and consisted of Celtic chieftains and their warriors. Together with Spanish and Numidian cavalry they usually outfought the Roman Equites and the Italian ally cavalry. After the Celtic tribes were defeated contingents of Celtic cavalry fought in Roman service.
