"Some pictures of my Italian ally cavalry, I hope you like them. The core of the Roman legion was the infantry: the hastati, principes and triarii. But every ancient army needed cavalry units to protect the flanks and attack and outflank the enemy. The Roman legions depended on the Italian ally cavalry to support and protect them together with there own cavalry."
