Here are some painted examples of the upcoming 1805 French in Greatcoats. These are wonderful figures and were a joy to paint.
The first photo is of fusiliers.
Next is the drummer and a lone fusilier; both these guys are personal favorites of mine!
Then we have a trio of grenadiers. Such fine fellows!
After that is a pair of voltigeurs.
Finally we have another group shot, this time lined up and marching!
As you can see, I tried to mix up the colours of the coats these gentlemen are wearing to give them a motley appearance. As there apparently was little standardisation in the colour of the greatcoat, this seems only appropriate! Enjoy!!
