Quatre Bras 1815 wargame
The WRG wargame of Quatre Bras 1815 took two gaming days with 5 players and about 3000 figures, most of them Hät and Airfix. Between the first and the second day of gaming, there was a gap of half a year time. So we had to rebuild the landscape and troop positions on a temporary table in our livingroom to finish the game. The allied troops won by stopping the French and keeping the Quatre Bras crossroad, just like in 1815.
Some of the soldiers were painted and converted in the early eighties when we were schoolboys and the Waterloo campaign was the only Napoleonic period available in the plastic HO 1/72 scale.
