Sherman Firefly Conversion to an Armoured Recovery Vehicle

Hello,
I have just completed a conversion based on the Hät Firefly and I thought you might be interested in some pictures. Inspired by Mr. Salvatore Paolini's ARV conversion on the M4 kit, I decided to have a go myself. I have a Rapid Fire unit representing 2nd Btn Grenadier Guards made up of Hät Shermans and I wanted a suitable recovery vehicle to accompany them 'into battle'.
Various bits of stowage from skytrex and SHQ have been added, the rest of the fittings are made from plastic card, balsa wood, paper stiffened with cyano glue and bits salvaged from the spares box, the 17 pdr gun tube also got recycled.
