The whole crew.
Heavy machine gun with 2 crew. The real deal required a full crew of 8. It was commanded by an NCO. Two men worked the gun, one fired the gun and one fed the ammo. The other men were ammunition carriers and spare men. The gun could fire a 250 round belt in 60 seconds. 16 belts were kept on hand next to the gun, and a reserve of 48 belts was kept close by.
The 08/15 light machine gun with 2 crew.
3 weapons which could lob projectiles, rifle grenade launcher, grenade launcher and mortar.
MP18 submachine gun and sniper.
Lewis machine gun fired from the hip. This was captured from the British and modified to take German ammo.
"Flammen sie!"
Anti-tank rifle and spotter. (For aficionados, yes, it's what Jigen used in the Castle of C.........)
Field telephone operator, messenger dog and NCO.
Many thanks to Messrs. White and Walker.
