1st Westphalian lancer regiment by Mr. Peter Styk of Slovakia.
"Enclosed you can find some pictures with 1st Westphalian lancer regiment. Regiment raised in 1808 from German volunteers and was equipped and armed as Chasseurs a cheval. Notifed chiefly for its lack of discipline and disorderly conduct, it was sent to Spain where, on occasion, it performed superbly. Probably this regiment was not rearmed as lancers until 1810.
The base for this conversion were HaT's French Chasseur a Cheval with heads from French Lancers. Officer´s horse with Jerome´s (Bonaparte – Napoleon´s brother) cipher on the schabraque is from Italeri. I create trumpeter, flag bearer officer and one elite trooper."
With Best Regards from Slovakia
Peter Styk
