Ed's notes: The M1917 was the US version of the French FT-17. It had the same 2 man crew, minor modifications and US appointments. The M1917 only had the riveted octagonal turret vs. the round cast and the riveted turret of the French. The US 6 ton tank had either a .30mg or a 37mm cannon M1916. A google search of US M1917 tank will give you everything you ever wanted to know about it and more.
