Placed on two 4x8 foot tables.
Nearly 6,000 figures--based on approximately 3% of actual numbers. French: 2500 men (including 600 horse); 2400 British & Allies (480 horse); 900 Prussians (90 horse).
French 1st Chasseurs are from HaT Lancers with Prussian Lancer swords.
HaT's Dragoons painted as 1st KGL Dragoons counter-charging French Guard Chasseurs. One conversion: Chasseur sword fighting and hanging onto flag. Other figures: Guard Dutch Lancers-ESCI; British Riflemen-Revell; Chasseurs-Revell; Nassau Contingent--ESCI paint conversion. Nassau Grenadiers--ESCI French Infantry with Revell Chasseur heads. (Done before HaT came out with its excellent Nassau Grenadiers.
Union Brigade charge; 1st Dragoons on left of picture; 6th Inniskillings in the middle; some 2nd Dragoons, Scot Greys on right.
6th French Lancers from HaT: Conversions: Bugler with white crest, black sheepskin; troopers with sabers from HaT French Chasseurs; belts and gloves painted buff.
First attack on Placenoit. French Young Guard (HaT) facing the 16th Brigade-- 15th Infantry--Revell, Jagers-HaT; 1st Silesian Landwehr on right; 2nd Silesian Landwehr in second rank; 1st Pommeranian Landwehr in bottom right corner (14th Brigade).
Right flank of Bulow. Hat Prussian artillery. 3rd and 4th Silesian Landwehr. 18th Infantry 2nd Batt (gray) 3rd Battalion (blue) of Hat Prussian Reserve Infantry. Cavalry is 1st and 2nd Pommeranian Landwehr Cavalry (HaT Uhlans) and the 10th Hussars (ESCI paint conversion.)
Brunswick Hussars: Revell Guard Chasseurs with HaT Brunswick Leib Infantry heads. Brunswick square has Avante-Guarde Battalion Light Infantry. Gelernte Jagers are behind the Hussars. Brunswick Lancers are ESCI lancers with paint conversion. Netherlands Artillery (Waterloo 1815) to the left. British Light Infantry (HaT) behind. Cumberland Hussars (Italeri Hussar paint conversion) at the back right deciding whether to stay or run. 3rd KGL Hussars in the attack on French Carabiniers and Dragoons. KGL are ESCI hussars with ESCI French Infantry heads.
Ney's charge. In front of charge are Guard Dragoons, bugler in light blue. (Both Italeri and HaT dragoons.) HaT's horse grenadiers. two with flags attached from HaT chasseurs.
