Test sprue painted by Peter Kempf of Sweden.
Pneumatic mortar. This large sized mortar used air, not powder to propel the mortar bomb. This allowed a larger projectile to be thrown.
Small dog carts were commonly used to carry small weapons in WWI on both sides. The Inuit and the Europeans are the only 2 peoples to use man's best friend for pulling power.
37mm trench gun. A small cannon for the trenches. This small artillery piece was used for direct fire when rifles or machine guns just wouldn't do.
The Schwarztlose heavy machine gun was Austria-Hungary's home grown mg. Many versions existed and this one is provided with a steel shield.
Many thanks to Mr. Peter Kempf (Sweden).
