Paraguayans

"These pictures are of my Paraguayan soldiers from the Great Paraguayan War. They are designed for war games and are still technically work in progress. I am also uncertain of the accuracy of certain details of the uniforms."
Paraguayan lancers. The bodies and horses are French Chasseurs and the Heads are British Light Infantry. The lances are from Cossacks and Austrian and Bavarian cavalry. There is probably an error with the head dresses of some of them.
Paraguayan infantry in chirpas (woollen 'skirts') and captured headgear. They are British Light Infantry with the chirpas made from milliput.
The same again. The flag is from the same source as the cavalry bodies and is very much simplified.
Marshal president Francisco Solano López and staff with bodyguards. The staff are made from Italeri Napolenoic Staff and the guards are the same as the infantry. I think the headdresses of the guards may be incorrect and I don't think they should really be wearing packs (I was insufficiently motivated to remove them!).
