From Peter Styk of Slovakia.
"Enclosed you can find my continuing contribution for Lituanian tartars with Russian style saddle. I like so much this small but most colourful (except of Mameluks) unit of French Napoleonic army, that I plan to create this unit also in uniform with black fur busbies, and in 1814 French style uniform. The base for this conversion were also HaT Mameluks, and Guard Cossacks from Zvezda. I extended original black shako surrounded by a yellow turban and added green bag with scarlet trimming (all with putty) and sun shield from paper. The upper bodies are HaT Mameluks withou changes (except of shako), lower bodies are from Zvezda set. Horses are from Zvezda Russian cavalry except of officer's horse. This horse comes from Guard Artillery (Italeri), I create fringes in putty to make more oriental looking saddle. The troopers becomes pistol holsters with imperial N. So this is part 2 for Lituanian tartars. I hope you enjoy this contribution. With Best Regards from Slovakia Peter Styk"
Many thanks to Mr. Styk.
