Dated: June 23, 2003.
From Peter Styk of Slovakia.
"Here is my Lithuanian tartars squadron, attached as scout to the 3rd regiment of Light Horses Lancers of Imperial Guard in 1812-13 uniform. The base for this conversion were HaT Mameluks. To original black shako surrounded by a yellow turban, I added green bag with yellow-scarlet trimming (putty) and sun protecting shield from paper. All soldiers get new black lances from thin wire. Lance with pennon is 2.7 m high. Pennon is from paper. It should be 10.1 mm long and 6.8 mm wide in scale 1/72. The black boots are from another cavalry regiment. Horses are from Revells guard cavalry and from Italeries guard artillery. Officers horse is from Guard Lancers. With Best Regards from Slovakia Peter Styk."
Many thanks to Mr. Styk.
