Battle of Ligny

"I send you some pictures of a diorama I made this winter. It's about the Battle of Ligny. This diorama (1.80 x 1.20m), with quite 2000 figures (Hät, Revell, Airfix, Italeri), take place at the end of the day, 7.30 pm. It shows the last attack of Napoléon's army on the Prussian army in Ligny, with the 6th corps of Lobau and the Old Guard, who gave the victory to the French. The Ligne river is the frontline. On the left side, you can see one battallion of the line infantry, with light infantry on is left. On the right side, a battallion of the Old Guard. In front of them, Prussian infantry and artillery of the Zieten Corps, and on the extreme left, Prussian cavalry (dragoons and Uhlans) from Röder.
Most of the figures of this diorama came from my Waterloo diorama. I started to paint them 6 years ago. Today, I own 18 000 figures (11000 from the Napoleonic era). 7000 of them are painted.
Since the beginning of the year, I'm working on the Moskowa battle. I hope to have time this summer to produce something."
