A contribution from Samuel Alonso of France:
"Hello, my name is Samuel Alonso, living in Perpignan, in the south of France. I send you some pictures of a diorama I made last year. I chose the Waterloo battle (it seems to me that most of the French people I saw on your site worked on the same battle, losing by the French...). The diorama is 8 meters square (4x2m) and with 5000 figures. Half of them are from the French army, the rest is from British, Scottish, Brunswick and Prussian armies. This is a mix of different parts of the battle, at different moments of the day."
Webmaster's notes in quotes.
artillerie garde:
"Artillery of the Guard. Foot artillery is with the bearskins and horse artillery with the busbies. There are some French light infantry at the top of the picture and French lancers at the bottom."

"French 2nd regiment of line. Lots of things happening in this picture. French staff towards the back. Looks like wagon train at the top left of the picture. Foot artillery is deployed on the left and advancing in the middle. Wounded men retreating on the road on the right. The column of blue trousered men are from Airfix's French artillery, not sure if they are supposed to be French artillerymen or French light infantrymen."
