Republican Romans Decals

This is a series of 1/72 scale decals/shield transfers for #8017 Princeps and Triari, #8018 Hastati and #8051 Roman Command, made by Little Big Men Studios in the UK.
These are rub off transfers that require no water. Simply cut them out, peel off the backing, press into position and press down firmly. Peel off the protective top layer and the transfer is in place. The transfers are on white backing paper so no priming is necessary. The transfers are fully shaded to look like they have been hand painted. They are specifically made for for the HaT figures so they are perfectly scaled to size.
Design notes: "There is not much evidence of shield designs for Republican roman shields, but the fact that Early Imperial Roman and Later Roman shelds were highly decorated leads me to suspect Republican Roman shields would be decorated as well. They were such large shields just cryng out for a unit Blazon for Identification purposes! Eagle wings, Laurel wreaths, wild boars are all wideley used in Roman art and serve to give the unit an identity. Lightning Bolts seem to be from the Early Imperial period and possibly an influence from conquered Celtic tribes in the Later Republic."
Each transfer sheet consists of 35 decals. Only a sample of the other shield decals in this series are shown below.
